Your Own Sex & Your Own City
As hardcore Sex and the City fans of this community I was wondering if any of you guys ever find yourselves in situations that are similar to those from the show. For instance, dating a politician or meeting your real life Aidan. I'm just asking because sometimes I find myself in situations that bring up the same questions once brought up in the show.
Yeah I know this makes me sound somewhat crazy and overly obsessed. But currently I think I found my real life Big...sometimes an asshole yet I still keep coming back, like an emotionally masochistic relationship; I find it a little amusing that it's pretty similar.

Why on earth is the Newport Harbor water so icky? It looks pretty clean, and the flying fish seem to be enjoying themselves, but today in class when we did the "intentional" capsize (to show that we can right the boat), it's just so darn icky - like heavy and salty. Maybe it's because of the motor oil, or maybe it's because I am uncomfortable swimming in a life vest and converse sneakers. Bleh. But, it was fun. The water was comforting, and during a time when no huge yachts that looked like they would squish us were coming by, I was tempted to swim up to Joe's Crab Shack for happy hour . . . Sometimes Orange County can be very fun. Off to shower and smell less like harbor water. Current Mood:  cold |

I just found out Bailey is officially blind now.
I havent cried in a really long time but this is just so hard. I always thought she was just so clumsy (lol..sorta). I now know (even moreso than before) how amazing she is. She does soo much with just her senses and she has our whole house memorized. The vet told my mom we cant really move the furniture around because it will confuse her.
jeez.
I want to call Keith because I know he'll make me feel alot better but I know how much he loves her and he'll be so bummed. |

Last night I went down to San Diego again to visit the boy. This is the end of week 2 out of 3 of his pharmacology training class, which is totally the suck, but he's meeting a lot of great people and setting up some great connections (he got a private tour of the Johnson & Johnson pharm research center!). We went out to dinner at a little Italian place on the beach in Del Mar, came back to La Jolla for frozen yogurt and a movie.
We're seeing Batman tomorrow! Yay for Fandango. Tomorrow's agenda: cleaning, running errands, and picking up (er, probably having it tailored) my bridesmaid dress. AND, buying Stereophonics tickets! It's the first time they've been in the US in 4 years. I am very, very excited, to say the least. |

Alright, my FWB usually does most of the work by his own preference, but sometimes he requests me to be on top. I don't mind at all, it's cool; except I can't feel anything? I try and switch it up sometimes to see if I can get it to work but I still can hardly feel it. I frustrates me because this is usually a woman's favorite position.
Does anyone else have this issue? |

So I have an issue when I have girl-on-top sex with my FWB. He's kind of bigger, and he's very wide in the hip area. I cannot for the life of me get comfortable on top. I can't straddle him, cause he's just that wide. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? |

Friday night I went out to Sushi with my boss and coworker after work. Ryokos.. ofcourse. Lisa drove me home (to SJ) afterwards. Driving 280 brings back sooo many memories. I bet Ive spent some substantial amount of time on that freeway. It's weird. I cuddled with Bailey all night - ended up falling asleep on our couch watching tv on our 50+ inch plasma. First I watched the Ruins with my brother (awful movie... really). Took him to McDonalds. Hung out all Saturday, studied my french and just layed around. It was sooo nice. Did some of my laundry - I reallly wanted my jeans to shrink and they did, woot! Weighed myself and Ive lost another 6 pounds since June. My brother was really shocked when he saw me and kept saying that I was "tiny". Sunday, Matt's mom Suzie drove me to my hair appt. It was awesome to see her again. She saw my drawing and commented on how artistic I was. It was a weird moment because Ive never seen myself that way. My hair took like 4 hours. Its soooo purdy now and straight. Thank goddddd. It was getting to be such a pain in my ass. After my hair, Zoe drove me to the caltrain station and I took it to Millbrae. Got on bart and viollllla! I was home. I was bummed to be back. I wish I had gotten to spend some more time with my family. Monday I went shopping with Kali and Julie. Bought some cardigans from H&M.
Tuesday, work and French. Wednesday I went to work until 3 and then met my mom in town. It was her birthday so I gave her her gift a new PF sig watch and a bunch of SF chocolates. The card I got her was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I wish I could find it online somewhere.. anyways, it sang "super freak" super loud in the restaurant and she was cracking up. PAYBACK for last year when my card was loud and obnoxious, except it broke when I shut it and kept playing. Hers didnt, damint. After we ate she drove me back to school and I picked up some craft paper for my painting and a new moleskin!! holy shit its so awesome. I need to spruce it up. Maybe put a "free palestine" sticker on it. After I got home my ear started throbbing. It got really bad and I called my mom in tears. Ive never had an ear infection hurt this bad. Passed out after taking advil and woke up at 11am today. It feels a little better now but still sucks majorly.
Tomorrow I am going to meet a girl on the softball team to practice before tryouts on the 7-8th of August. Im totz nervous but I feel good about it. I called my mom 2 hours ago and she said she was making veg tacos so now Im super jealous and hungry. Im deciding whether I am going to bike to the fillmore tomorrow or not. Its pretty much 75% uphill. grrrrrrr. Im going to finish watching Miami Ink and go to sleep.
Seeing Alkaline Trio at the end of August and CIS + NFG in Sept. very very exciting. Primus is playing soon too. it would be amazing to see that!
